Science & Engineering Fair
2021 Synopsys Alameda County Science & Engineering Fair is going virtual!
Important Notes:

Open to ALL grade 6-12 students from Alameda County Schools or home schools.

Fremont Unified will not hold a district-wide or site-based science fair this year. Students who wish to complete a science or engineering project will work directly with ACSEF.

Student projects must follow the ACSEF rules, eligibility criteria, and ACSEF procedures to be eligible for participation at ACSEF.

General eligibility rules including Minimum Quality Standards. and Projects to Avoid in Section 2 of the 2021 ACSEF Handbook.

Please review Section 1 of the 2021 ACSEF Handbook.for changes to the fair for 2021.
Guidelines and Steps to Participate:
Step 1 - Students determine if their type of project belongs to the Early Group or Regular Group. See Section 3 of the 2021 ACSEF Handbook |
Step 2 - Students or teams submit project proposal to ACSEF: Early Group submission window August 26 - Nov. 1, 2020. Regular Group submission window Nov. 26, 2020 - January 15, 2021. |
Step 3 - When the project proposal is accepted by ACSEF we will send the students the links to the application paperwork. |
Step 4 - Students send a pdf file of completed paperwork to ACSEF at src.irb.acsef@gmail.com . |
Step 5 - Once paperwork has been received and accuracy/completion verified, ACSEF will send students an email with ACSEF OFFICIAL Registration Guide and secure fair registration link |
