The Secondary Education department provides support in the areas of academics, athletics, and activities for the secondary schools in the Fremont Unified School District. The Director oversees the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of the site principals.

Continuation & Alternative Schools

Robertson High School is the only continuation high school serving the five comprehensive high schools in the Fremont Unified School District.

Vista Alternative is Fremont Unified School District’s Independent Study program for students in seventh to twelfth grade.

Referral forms are located in the Robertson/Vista office - 4455 Seneca Park Ave. Fremont, CA 94538 [MAP]. Once completed and turned in, you will receive further instructions in an email.

California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) Information

Effective 1/1/16, Senate Bill 172 requires that schools grant a diploma to any pupil who completed grade twelve in the 2003–04 school year or later, and met all applicable graduation requirements other than the passage of the high school exit examination.

If you believe you are now eligible to receive a diploma, please fill out the form below and submit it to your high school either in person or via U.S. mail (email will not be accepted) after Monday, January 4, 2016. Please note that, if approved, it may take up to several weeks to receive the diploma.
