Requirements:

All coaches must meet California Education Title V Guidelines.

  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Fundamentals of Coaching - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
  • Concussion in Sports Certificates - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
  • Heat Illness Prevention - Online classes at nfhslearn.com
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate - Online class at nfhslearn.com
  • AACCA Spirit Safety Certification – Cheer Coaches ONLY (nfhslearn.com/courses)
  • Safety Training for Swim Coaches Certification - Swim and Water Polo Coaches ONLY (Offered through the American Red Cross)  

As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District.
